The German TV`s mornig programm is looking for the „summerhit 2010“. Konrad Kuechenmeister was invited to perform a song live in TV that he solely produced for this occasion.

First of all we would like to thank you for this amazing concert last friday at Dresden`s Scheune. Konrad performed for more that 2 and a half hour. For ages Konrad was not that exited before playing a show but as soon as the show has begun and due to your applause
this exitement was gone.
Now Konrad is heading to Shanghai where he is going to perform at EXPO 2010. 2Raumwohnung, Jahcoozi will also perform there. We wish him all the best and are looking forward reading his impressions.

 For the first time ever Konrad will perform at Dresden's Scheune club and is going to play lots of the new songs and even some freshly composed songs for his Dresden fans before he heads to Shanghai/China. Just like always the show is focussed on the fun while making music, jamming and dancing. It's been and still is something special to him when he plays in his home city. So he cannot wait for having his Dresden fans dancing to his loops.
He gets locally supported by the amazing „Hand in Hand“ duo who flashed us with their recent album „Kuscheln mit den Riesen“. The duo is Beate Wein and Annett Lipske from Potsdam and Dresden respectively. They put a street-swing, barefoot-bossa, funk and ballade flavour to their music while playing Fender Rhodes piano and Drums in a way that almost invisibly makes your feet moving.
Last but not least there are the dynamic Spur1-Music-DJs led by „DJ of the year“ Gyoergy de Val who is also going to play in China. He, Cosai and DD_Dubster are going to entertain you after Konrad's show with their drum'nbass, breaks, dub and jungle music.

 On Febuary26th there will be the official record release show at Berlin`s Edelweiss club. The show starts at 9 p.m. at Edelweiss club, Goerlitzer Strasse 1 – 3 in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
Due to the large demand for tickets and because we have no chance to offer presale tickets we advise to come early enough to grab a place. Doors will open at 9 p.m.

The readers of Dresden`s largest monthly magazine (SAX) have chosen Konrad to be „Newcomer Of The Year“. His producer Gyoergy de Val came also first in the category „Best DJ Of The Year“.

Finally we made it: „Battery Street“ the new album by Konrad Kuechenmeister is currently in the pressing factory and will be available by the end of november.
The recordings for the recent album started in april last year and involve a lot of guest musicians. While recording the songs a gap between two continents had to be bridged and the process took about a year. Besides the 9 new songs there will also be six tracks from the pre-album „Loopool“. This won`t be a limited edition album ;)
The new album „Battery Street“ reflects Konrad`s way from being a street musician to Manu Chao`s support act. Hereby you will find a lot of different styles of music on it and the „DRESDNER“ magazine wrote about it: „A nice piece of world music.“
From now on you can preorder the album in our online-shop.
The presale for the record release show in Dresden has started. So for everybody who still has no present for this year`s christmas: go to SAX-Ticket nearby the Schauburg cinema and grab a ticket for just 6 € (plus presale fee).
